Local Safeguarding Children Boards (LSCBs) are the key statutory mechanism where the relevant organisations are brought together to ensure that they work collaboratively to be effective in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

The role of Brent LSCB

Brent LSCB has a responsibility to work across all the local agencies that provide services for children and young people.

The main function of the Board is to coordinate the way services are provided to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in the borough and to ensure that services are provided to agreed standards.
